Health Guarantee

PURCHASER’S CONTRACT
Puppies are reserved and held with a deposit of $500.00 on a first come first to choose basis or reserved by our puppy waiting list. Deposits are only accepted with cash. Once deposit is received by Mountain Side Labradors the puppy will be considered sold and marked accordingly.
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. A deposit will only be refunded in the event of a premature death while in possession of Mountain Side Labradors, then and only then will a deposit be refunded.
Shipping of puppies is available. ALL SHIPPING COSTS are buyer’s responsibility. This cost includes veterinarian certificate, transportation crate and actual shipping costs. If you need your puppy shipped, the purchase price along with the shipping costs of the puppy must be received by Mountain Side Labradors by the time the puppy reaches six weeks of age. All puppies will be shipped out at eight weeks of age.
Buyers will pick up their puppy by eight weeks of age. There will be a boarding fee of $35.00 per day plus any other expenses if buyer is not able to pick up puppy by eight weeks of age. If puppy is not picked up by 10 weeks of age, or plans are not made by Mountain Side Labradors and buyer, the buyer than forfeit’s the puppy and any deposits and payments made on puppy.
PUPPY GUARANTEE
Mountain Side Labradors guarantees puppy to be in good health and physical condition for the first 72 hours after he/she has been delivered to buyer. The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a Licensed Veterinarian within the first 72 hours of delivery for a complete examination. If the Veterinarian at time of examination finds the puppy to have any contagious diseases or any serious physical conditions such other than a bacterial infection such as coccidian or giardia which is easily treated, Mountain Side Labradors will replace the puppy with another of comparable quality. Mountain Side Labradors reserves the right to a second opinion by a licensed veterinarian at their own expense. If buyer chooses not to have puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within the 72 hour time frame the above guarantee will be VOID and NO MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED.
To be free of any inheritable diseases that cause death or serious impairment of vital functions in the puppy until puppy is one year of age. If such a disease is documented by a licensed veterinarian and presented to Mountain Side Labradors with sufficient supporting evidence, the buyer will be entitled to a replacement puppy of comparable quality if one is available. If a puppy is not available the buyer will receive one from the next litter. The seller reserves the right to a second veterinarian opinion at the sellers own expense.
Mountain Side Labradors offers a 24 month guarantee against severe hip dysplasia. In the event that you suspect your dog is dysplastic you must take the following steps; take your dog to a licensed veterinarian to have radiographs taken and send the radiographs to the Orthopedic Foundation of Animals (OFA). Once results are received, you must send us copies of both the radiographs and the certificate from the OFA. We will only guarantee if provided with documentation listed above. Mountain Side Labradors does not recognize any individual veterinary recommendations or assumptions. We solely recognize the OFA to be the only judge of hip dysplasia.
Owner must not spay or neuter their dog prior to 24 months of age to allow growth plates to fully mature. If owner elects spay or neuter prior to 24 months of age the above guarantee is null and void.
The puppy is to be of sound temperament that is, to be neither shy nor vicious as to render the dog an unfit companion. This guarantee of temperament is effective only until the dog reaches one year of age, and is contingent upon reasonable proof that any defect in temperament is not the result of lack of proper care, socialization and training on the part of the buyer.
At no time whatsoever will seller be held responsible for defects, conditions or injuries caused by buyers negligence, abuse, improper nutrition or mishandling.
Puppy has received first vaccines and has been de-wormed at least two times.
THE BUYER AGREES
In the event that the dog is later sold, or otherwise transferred from the possession of the buyer, for whatever reason, the seller will have the absolute right of first refusal to repurchase the dog for a sum not to exceed the original purchase price.
Maintain up to date vaccinations and regular routine worming.
That puppy will not be abused, used for fighting or illegal activities.
The buyer and seller agree that this is the full and complete agreement that exists between the parties for the sale of this dog. Any agreements made prior to this are considered incorporated herein and any modifications made to this agreement shall be made in writing or such shall not be effective.
